Maile Mixon is a certified physician assistant who enjoys taking care of the entire family unit. She understands patient concerns and addresses them with long-term relationships and a commitment to great healthcare through all stages of their life. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Maile then attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she received a Masters in Medical Science, also with honors. Prior to moving to Texas, she worked with a cardiology group and a family practice group in Georgia. Maile is passionate about adolescent health, women's health and the elderly. Many of her patients are concerned with losing weight and her biggest piece of advice for them is to quit smoking, eat less and move more. Maile and her family are active members of Custer Road United Methodist Church, and frequently volunteers with youth programs and other activities. She also enjoys volunteering for school activities, such as the band program. Maile's favorite activity is spending time with her family, which includes her husband Trey and twins, Marshall and Mackenzie. Together they love hiking, biking, reading and target shooting. They also enjoy riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers but always make sure to wear all the proper protective gear.
