Holiday Wrap-Up

Our providers at Village Health Partners participated in a special project in December to collect donations to support the Plano Children’s Medical Clinic.  Plano Children's Medical Clinic has been open since 1991 and serves children in the Plano community who are on Medicaid, CHIP, or without insurance. VHP has a history dating back to 2004 with the clinic when several of VHP’s physicians would volunteer their time in the evenings to provide care to the clinic’s pediatric patients. One of their exam rooms is named the “pirate room” and lists eight VHP physicians on the wall’s mural!  

The donations collected will stock the shelves of the clinic’s “More than Medicine” room. We are proud to support this clinic and look forward to future areas where we can assist with their needs. VHP Providers are committed to our goal of helping our communities thrive!

In addition, Village Health Partners at McKinney Medical Village participated in McKinney’s annual Parade of Lights. The theme was “Making a Difference”.  The providers at Village Health Partners strive to make a difference in each of their patient’s lives, so it was a pleasure participating this year.  On the float, Dr. Claus was seeing patients with the help of his elves.  His helpers were the VHP team’s children, who sang Christmas carols to all of McKinney!  

As the float toured McKinney, existing patients in the crowd gave supportive cheers and hugs.  It was wonderful seeing friendly faces.  Dr. Hall and Dr. Bogert enjoy participating and giving back to the incredible McKinney community and plan on participating again in the 2018 Parade of Lights!  Hope to see you there!
