Village Health Partners Welcomes Dr. Lauren Woolbert
PLANO, Texas (March 13, 2018) - Village Health Partners (VHP), one of the nation’s largest and nationally recognized family medicine practices, is proud to add Dr. Lauren Woolbert to its team of expert healthcare providers. A Plano native, Dr. Woolbert is excited to be back serving her community at Independence Medical Village.
“After being away for college, medical school, and training for the last 11 years, I am excited to be back in Plano to serve the community in which I grew up,” says Dr. Woolbert. “Plano has changed a lot since I graduated from Plano West, and I am delighted to be here for the health of its residents and those across North Texas as the region continues to grow and change!”
A board-certified family practice physician, Dr. Woolbert strongly promotes mental and physical wellness. She is committed to educating her patients on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, being less sedentary and managing stress through relaxation. She has special interest in adolescent, children and women’s health, as well as helping patients prevent or manage chronic disease.
Dr. Woolbert received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and attended The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During her residency at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa, she was awarded Clinic MVP, then later served as Chief Resident in 2016-2017.
