We offer an 8-week group weight management course taught by our weight loss doctors and licensed dietician. Our weight loss doctors, dietician and staff also counsel patients one-on-one to diagnose weight-related health issues and provide medical treatment for healthy lifestyle changes.
- What are the best weight loss tips?
Consistency is key. We recommend consistent physical activity and a balanced diet to reach and maintain a healthy weight. Additional weight loss tips include limiting liquid calorie intake, limiting portion sizes and eating 150-calorie snacks that mix protein and carbohydrates.

What is a considered a nutritionally balanced diet?
To enhance your nutrition and create a balanced diet, you need plenty of vegetables, fruit and lean protein, as well as some wheat, dairy and a little fat. It is important to avoid skipping breakfast and overeating.
How many calories should I get a day?
According to the American Diabetes Association, adult males should eat between 2,000 to 2,800 calories a day, and adult females should take in 1,200 calories a day, minimum. Everyone’s body and nutrition needs are unique. However, these numbers are a good guide for a healthy diet.
