I love Dr. Ayyagari. She is the best thyroid doctor. I’m so glad my primary Dr. Wien referred me to her. My thyroid due to stress and worrying under control now. My swelling is going away like she said. She is very knowledge knowing exactly where my thyroid level and she adjusted medication properly. I went to other thyroid specialists but they made my thyroid and whole face and body swollen. Many Thanks to doctor Ayyagari i feel back to normal now. I’m going to see her again this afternoon at 3:15 for regular check up. I have been seeing Dr. Ayyagari a while but at few first visits she made me feel much much better than other doctors and i never seen she rude to me at all like other people said. As a practicing Physician for over 40 years I have had the worst experience trying to make an appointment for my patient this morning the lady who answered the phone was rude obnoxious and hung up instead of helping my patient. When one goes on your website to make an appointment with Dr. Ayyagari her name does not even come up and hence the patient was not able to make her appointment, thanks for the administration of that office I have requested my patient to see another Endocrinologist and she got the appointment for next week. More

I have been seeing Dr. Ayyagari for several years now for my thyroid condition. She has been a wonderful, up front doctor. She has been able to help me consistently maintain the correct thyroid levels, something that only one previous endocrinologist (retired) had been able to do. The staff is up front and friendly as well. More

I found this last visit (post-op) to be very pleasant; Dr. Ayyagari was very attentive and compassionate. She put me at ease and provided me with the information I needed. Her nurse is awesome! In the past (Oct 2019), which was pre-op, I was fearful of what was next with my treatment; I felt like she was "following a script" and perhaps did not understand the fear that a patient might have. Except for being kicked off of the pre-telehealth visit the appointment went very well. I entered my temperature, weight, blood pressure and pulse rate prior to my actual televisit starting. About 5 minutes before the my scheduled time for some reason my connection was terminated. So Dr. Ayyagari had to call me back. That was an inconvenience to her. This was a good (virtual visit). Dr. Ayyagari covered all the same questions, she would ask as if I had an office visit. She also had me hold the camera in such a way that she could view the area of my thyroid, while turning my neck to the (L) and to the (R). A requisition has been sent for Lab Work, based on those results she will prescribe medication (Synthroid) for my Hypothyroidism/Hoshimoto condition. More

I have been seeing this doctor for my diabetes and thyroid problems for the past 5 years. I recently started taking my son too for his newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes. Dr.A has been very patient with him and got his diabetes under control. His a1c has dropped to 6 from 12 and we can’t ask for more than that, The office staff has been very helpful even during the busy covid time. I can’t ask for more. I had to go to Dr. Ayyagari for thyroid testing. I spent $750 on testing and then did not hear from the office for three weeks. I was finally able to log in to the patient portal and when I did found a note from the doctor next to my lab results saying, “you have Graves’ disease. Would like to start you on medication.” Well, I would’ve liked a phone call for that, at least. No one has talked to me about the condition or what the medications will do/ side effects. I’ve called the office to ask for help, but I haven’t received a call back. I am frustrated, disappointed, and scared. I have called my family practitioner for help and am looking for another endocrinologist at the moment. If you care about your health and being treated like a person, I would not recommend this doctor. Horrible experience. More

I have finally found a great endocrinologist, Dr.  Ayyagari, after having gone through multiple endos as I have type 1 diabetes and hypothyroidism. It has been a real struggle finding a doctor who knows the complexities of type 1 diabetes versus type 2. She took her time to hear my back story and all of my concerns. She was not judgemental at all, but at the same time made clear that I need to take initiative of my health. She explained exactly why she was recommending certain things, instead of the usual just writing me a prescription with no explanation. Her medical assistant and all of Village Healths office staff are all great too! More

I was surprised that the doctor did the ultrasound herself when in the past I have had it done by a nurse at other locations. I felt that she did not do as good a job of doing the ultrasound compared to the nurses that have done so before. Plus she did not provide me any insights on my issue dismissing it as essentially a mistake on the part of the examiner in the prior year. And the cost of the short visit came out to be 3+ times my prior visits to other locations! More
