About Dr. Hewitt
Dr. Hewitt sees patients at our brand-new West Plano Medical Village location. It’s less than a minute away from Legacy Medical Village, where he previously saw patients.
Dr. Hewitt is a passionate family medicine physician at Village Health partners where he practices his life-long vision of providing the highest quality health care to patients of all ages. He is a board-certified family medicine physician who is an advocate for his patients, treating their health issues with superior care and knowledge. He values the importance of the doctor-patient relationship and understands that a balance of experience and knowledge combined with communication, accessibility, and compassion are the foundational tools for a successful connection with his patients.
As a family medicine provider, Dr. Hewitt takes a special interest in preventive medicine, education on the importance of healthy lifestyles, men’s health, and pediatric care. In addition to his experience with a wide spectrum of family medicine medical issues, he brings an expertise in technology and an ability to help patients navigate the complicated healthcare system. His view of a patient-centered medical home led him from Houston to Village Health Partners in Plano, Texas.
How Dr. Hewitt practices whole-person wellness
Dr. Hewitt lives in Frisco with his wife and daughters. He and his family are active in their church home, Stonebriar Community Church. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Hewitt likes participating in outdoor activities and supports Texas Longhorn sports.

Residency, Memorial Family Medicine in Houston
During his residency, he was actively involved in recruitment, policy change, and served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. His education and experience in this patient-centered medical home has equipped him to provide the highest quality health care for patients.
Care team
Dr. Hewitt works hand in hand with advanced practitioners Sheena Abraham and Emily Lau and closely with team members at his care station. This includes Dr. Moon.
