Jesse Zaitchik is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Plano, TX with more than 12 years of clinical experience. He has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings gaining specialized expertise in urgent care, newborn nursery and adolescent medicine, and he received specialized training in asthma management. He particularly enjoys working at Village Pediatrics in Plano because it allows him to establish meaningful long-term relationships with the kiddos and families.
Jesse was born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts, but spent his first 7 years of his career in Austin which is where he met his wife while playing volleyball. He and his young family just moved back to Plano after being back in Boston for the past 5 years. He is absolutely done with the Northeast winters and is excited to call Plano home!
When he is not working, he is spending time doing all sorts of activities with his 3-year-old son, Asher and 15-month-old daughter, Talia. Although he has practiced pediatric medicine for over 12 years, he feels like he has learned the most from being a dad. With two totally different kids, he’s learned that there is not a “one-size-fits-all” parenting approach and that it is important to always meet your child where he/she is at. Jesse is looking forward to joining Village Pediatrics and meeting your family!
