Kori Nelson is a Family Nurse Practitioner bringing more than 13 years of experience to Village Health Partners. She sees patients 5 years and older.
Kori is passionate about patient education and preventive medicine, and she wants patients to be equipped and feel empowered to take an active role in their personalized care plan. She encourages her patients to ask questions, follow up on their health concerns and take their symptoms seriously.
Kori graduated Cum Laude with her Master of Science in nursing from Simmons College and earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern University. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honors Society at both Simmons College and Southern University. She is currently a member of the North Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Kori lives in McKinney with her 9-year-old son. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Saints, traveling and cheering on her son at his basketball games.
