Laura Billingsley FNPC has served as a family nurse practitioner for 13 years. She joined Village Health Partners shortly after its inception in 2007 and has worked as one of their leading NPs for the past 11 years. Her nursing career was spent working in trauma/ICU at Methodist Dallas while she went on to earn her Nurse practitioner license. Her entire NP career has been spent in family medicine. She enjoys family medicine because of the variety of disease states it brings and the ability it lends in being able to truly impact the health of an entire family. She encourages her patients to lead active lifestyles as well as arm them with the education they need to stay healthy. She believes all patient encounters are precious and wants her patients to feel heard and understood.
She has a special emphasis on Diabetes, Women’s health and Hormonal health/wellness. She has spoken and served on a National Medical Advisory board for Diabetes.
Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing and Masters of science in nursing, both magna cum laude from Texas Woman's University.
She resides in Allen with her husband and two children. She is actively involved in her church and enjoys running, reading, spending time with family, and cheering on her Texas Aggies.
