About Maile
Maile Mixon is a certified physician assistant who enjoys taking care of the entire family through all stages of life. She enjoys family medicine because of the ability to cultivate long-term relationships and the variety of concerns encountered by primary care patients.
Maile is passionate about adolescent health, women’s health and care for the elderly. She enjoys an open dialog with her patients to encourage healthy long-term lifestyle improvements and finding ways to help patients make and meet their goals.
How Maile practices whole-person wellness
Maile and her husband Trey are active members of Custer Road United Methodist Church. They have college-age twins and enjoy time volunteering, hiking, riding, target shooting and just being together.

Masters in Medical Science, Emory University Physican Assistant program
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, San Diego State University
Maile graduated with honors from both Emory University and San Diego State University.
Care team
Maile works hand in hand with Dr. Lensing and also works closely with team members at her care station. This includes Dr. Khoury, Dr. Ponder, Dr. Woolbert and nurse practitioner Alycia Hawkins.
