About Kristin
Kristin Kim is a certified family nurse practitioner at Village Health Partners – Independence Medical Village. She values the importance of compassionate care for patients of all ages. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Kristin taught in Plano ISD before pursuing her nursing degree at Texas Woman's University. She was a Mother/Baby nurse at Texas Health Resources Dallas and remains certified as a Maternal Newborn Nurse. As a former educator, Kristin is passionate about providing creative solutions to incorporate healthy lifestyles into patients' lives and emphasizes the importance of preventative care. She encourages finding physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.
How Kristin practices whole-person wellness
Kristin lives in Frisco with her husband and three sons. They enjoy exploring local nature trails, running, and cooking healthy meals as a family. When Kristin isn't on the soccer field with her children, you can find her planning her next Disney vacation. She also believes in the importance of giving back to the community and serves on the Collin County Healthcare Advisory Board, at her children’s schools, and is active in her church.
