Weekend appointments at a primary care office? Yes, that exists!
Why is it that our symptoms always begin to worsen after our doctor’s office closes? This often forces us to visit an urgent care center or emergency room to get relief, leaving us with frustration and higher out-of-pocket costs than when we visit our primary care doctor.
Village Health Partners believes in being accessible to patients when you need us most. Yes, even on the weekend! We are open seven days a week for urgent care appointments in Plano. This means that you can continue to see one of our primary care doctors or advanced practitioners for your urgent care needs.
Our weekend urgent care is operated out of Legacy Medical Village in Plano. Do you typically go to Independence Medical Village, McKinney Medical Village or Frisco Medical Village? That’s OK! You may be surprised to see your physician working out of Legacy Medical Village on the weekend.
Your urgent care physician has access to your medical records, regardless of who you typically see. This means that even if you see a different provider during our weekend hours, they will have access to your medical history and any medications you take!
The information from your urgent care visits will also be uploaded to your patient portal account and will be shared with your primary physician. Your records will stay in one place, and your physician will have access to them if you have any questions during your next visit or if you want to schedule a follow-up appointment with them.
If you need specific tests done or a referral, many times we can send you to labs or to get an x-ray that same day, in the same building. Our Plano and McKinney locations have a lab and imaging center to help you get what you need without ever stepping foot outside of the building.
Do you need to schedule an urgent care visit? Call (972)599-9600 to schedule an appointment. We begin to schedule weekend appointments on Friday afternoons. Our weekend clinic hours are Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
