About Amy
Amy sees patients at our brand-new West Plano Medical Village location. It’s less than a minute away from Legacy Medical Village, where she previously saw patients.
Amy Hicks is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Village Health Partners seeing patients of all ages. She has more than 20 years of healthcare experience.
Amy focuses on preventive medicine, helping her patients on their whole-person wellness journey. In addition to primary care, she is passionate about pediatric medicine, orthopedics and sports medicine since sports are such an important part of her life. She encourages patients to focus on their wellbeing through stretching, being active and drinking plenty of water, and she emphasizes the importance of diet and physical activity in overall health.
How Amy practices whole-person wellness
Amy lives in Frisco with her husband Anthony and their two children. As part of a healthy lifestyle and whole-person wellness, they stay active through sports (whether playing, coaching or cheering), family walks with their dogs and riding bikes. Amy also serves on the welcome team at her church.
