Should I See My Provider in-Person if I’m Feeling Sick?

Village Health Partners prides itself on providing accessible, high-quality care – whether you’re healthy or feeling sick. COVID-19 has created new opportunities to show you that we’re dedicated to your care. If you’re feeling sick (and presenting COVID-19 symptoms), we suggest scheduling a telehealth visit! You can still see your trusted primary care provider through a virtual visit, all from the convenience of your home. Read more about telehealth appointments here.

If you do want to come in the office to see your provider when you’re not feeling well, we can still see you in person! To better serve you, we ask that you respond to the texts we send you prior to your appointment and let us know if you have symptoms. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you can still see your family physician, but we want to make sure you, our team members and other patients are protected. Responding to these questions to let us know you’re feeling under the weather allows us to prepare the proper equipment and supplies, and ensure that you have a quick check-in and check-out process. Beating COVID-19 takes a team effort, we are still here for you either way but we need your help to keep everyone safe.

Do you have questions about whether a telehealth visit or an in-person visit is right for you? Find the number to text a team member at your preferred location here.
