Meet Kristen
Kristen sees patients at our brand-new West Plano Medical Village location.
Kristen Mahurin is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Village Health Partners. She brings to us more than 25 years of combined nursing experience and has practiced as a nurse practitioner in family medicine for 9 years. Kristen sees patients 5 years and older.
Kristen places an emphasis on holistic care, treating more than just individual symptoms. She prioritizes listening to patients so she can better help address and relieve concerns while guiding patients toward a healthier and happier life. She believes in setting reachable goals that patients can build on and each patient’s journey is unique.
Kristen chose a career in medicine, after experiencing first-hand, personalized and compassionate nursing care that made a positive difference in her life.
How Kristen practices whole-person wellness
Kristen lives in Plano with her husband Len. They have three sons and enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, music and traveling, as part of an active and healthy lifestyle. In her free time, Kristen also enjoys painting, watching classic movies and yoga.
