Our blended approach: telehealth

To ensure your safety and health, we’re modifying our approach to care. This is happening in three ways: telehealth, curbside care and in-person visits.

Telehealth is the easiest way to social distance while still being able to see your physician, dietitian or counselor, so we’re revisiting everything you need to know about telehealth.

What is telehealth?

Telehealth is a virtual appointment with a Village Health Partners provider, including your primary physician! These visits look similar to in-office visits and your physician can review your medical history and symptoms, prescribe medication and provide you with a treatment plan – all from the comfort and safety of your home.

What appointments can be done through telehealth?

There are many things you can do through telehealth! You can see a provider virtually for:

  • Cold, flu and allergy symptoms
  • Follow-up visits
  • Medication checks and refills
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Rashes
  • Dietitian visits
  • Counselor visits
  • Visits to receive curbside care orders

If you need to be tested for the flu or strep throat or receive a Hemoglobin A1C tests, you can receive orders for curbside care through a telehealth visit!
