Dr. Moon is my primary care physician, and I couldn't be happier. I believe he truly cares for his patients and when there is an issue, he will address it expediently. When I had a recent issue, I got a personal phone call to deliver the results and that personal touch is what modern medicine is missing these days. He is a very busy doctor but if you can manage to get an appointment, I highly recommend this physician for your primary care needs. I have been a patient with VHP for a long time and they have always treated me with respect. My NPN Brett Driver and his assistant Tylar are so personable and they take the time to really listen to me and helping me get through some mild medical issues. I've been to so many other places where my symptoms were ignored or they just don't care. With this outstanding medical team, they have answered me on weekends, nights, and even call to thoroughly talk about my questions/results/treatment plan. I have been to the independence location a few times for different reasons and all of the staff in the areas I have been to are exceptionally nice. Wait times were minimal. The place was very clean. Signs are posted to let you know where to go - labs and room numbers are clearly marked making it easy to navigate. The doctor and office staff were great! I'm very happy with all of them and will be switching my general medical care to this office.However, it took a while to see the doctor because there was a problem with the forms I filled out on Zocdoc. There should be a notification for the doctor's office that a patient has completed the forms and even though all of the information was there, the forms were formatted differently from the doctor's office so it took a while for them to transfer the information into their system. There should be a place for doctors' offices to add their own forms in Zocdoc so this confusion is avoided. More

I'm not only satisfied with my recent experiences with your company, I'm shocked that it works so smoothly. I recently chose Dr. Castle as my primary care physician, and I'm so happy with my choice. I've never had a PCP that I felt cared so much about my health, and I've definitely never had a doctor who communicated the options and potential results of treatment more clearly than Dr. Castle. Talking to him seems like a conversation I would have with one of my friends, but at the same time, it's clear that he's extremely educated and highly trained in the health and well-being of his patients. He makes going to see the doctor just a regular thing you do rather than something you look at your schedule and dread until the day comes. We are lucky to have him in Plano. More

I have been seeing Dr. Malini Hebbur since I moved to Texas. My kids both love to see her and in Texas allergies are so high all the time and the doc explains what to do and not to do and gives prescription medicine only if necessary. When I follow her my kids recover in 1-2 days whether it's allergies or cold, cough, and fever. She always patiently listens to your concerns and doubts and clarifies each and every doubt and also educates you for future so that you know what exactly has to be done by not panicking. I am so glad and happy that she is my kid's doctor. I would highly recommend her. More

I have quite a few health problems and when go in for my initial care visit, most Doctors or Nurse Practitioners look at me like I am crazy and write off what I say. It usually takes months of test for them to understand my predicament. Dr. Sweta Manek was so professional and kind. When I told her my conditions she immediately referred me to specialists for my needs. Best care I have ever received on my first visit. I love Dr. Garduno and his nurse is very nice. He's a wonderful doctor and takes the time to listen to all my concerns. What I don't Ike is having to walk into the building then read the sign on the door to text that I've arrived and go back to my car and wait to be texted to come back. It's a bit much and of all the doctors I see the only one still doing this. More

I had an appointment at 10:30 and at 11:30 was seen by the doctor. I know that it can get busy. After arriving at the facility I texted the office to let them know that I had arrived as per the instructions. If they was running behind, they should have let me know either while I was in the car or when I checked in. This was the second time that this happened. The doctor apologized, but that did not make it any better. If I was 15 minutes late, I would be billed for a late fee. Why can't that happen with late doctor appointments that has the patient wait after x number of minutes past the appointment time? I make plans in my day, so when this happens it is very frustrating. Arrived at appropriate time, short wait, called in to exam room. Promptly seen by Dr assistant, got flu shot. Dr Albracht did his exam, we discussed a couple of things. I went to the lab for blood draw and then left. All in all, a perfect visit. Couldn't be happier! More

This is a modern practice that uses the normal modes of communications that we use in the rest of our lives. Most medical practices are in the voicemail and fax age. The practitioner seem highly competent and relaxed, versus rushed and harried. I don’t like that they have a sort of captive insurance agent, but so far it’s up to me what insurance I buy. I’m sure it wouldn’t be ethical for them to push in a certain direction on insurance. More

I have been traveling so was able to set up a telehealth visit with Virginia Rady, ANP-C. She was excellent - professional, informative, educational - but most of all collaborative. I am an RN so come with my own knowledge and background. I am newer to this practice, but have now seen 3 different practitioners (Dr. Ennis, Dr. Fullington and Virginia Rady) and am so impressed with them all. It’s important to me to ‘participate’ in my own healthcare and that is exactly what you get here. I would highly recommend this practice! More

First let me say, Prior to becoming a patient at Village Health partners, (TX Family Medicine) I personally have not met such a warm, friendly, and loving group of people. The Dr's, PA's, NP's and staff are the epitome of light and love. You literally cannot walk through the doors (or logon for a televisit) and not be greeted by a smile. I've been a patient of Dr. Sheffield for 6 years now, and although I now live some 45 mile away from her office, I choose to continue the relationship, a fact that should speak for itself. I was disappointed today. To get a free Covid test, I was told I would have to have a televisit with a nurse. However, no one mentioned that the order needed for the Covid test would be over $100! I was simply exposed over Christmas, and wanted to make sure I was safe before returning to work. Usually, they have been great. Their new Covid set up allows most people to never get close to another in the Frisco building. I was shocked that they wouldn’t do a free Covid test for free. $100+ just to make sure you’re safe to work in a school setting disappointed me - especially since they didn’t mention the cost before trying to schedule me. Very hard to get hold of any staff member on the phone. I called them during the business hours and phone still go to answering service. You leave a message they don't call you back. I went for some imaging and x-rays and I got the test results back in one week and they called back after I complained. More

Horrible. I’ve been trying to schedule labs. First the link and it is not available then called. I was on the line at least 15 minutes no option for call back. I just called again and once again hold and finally got a call back response. Too many locations and doctors. You’ve gotten too big. I liked it better when Dr Christopher Crow was my doctor and seeing a doctor was easy and received great care. More

Portal is down for past 2 days. I called yesterday waited on hold for lab results for 20 min then left my phone number for a callback. No callback, called again this morning, waited 10 min hung up. Called back trying another option that looped me back. I have no way to contact this office for results. Update, just tried to call again, hit make appt just to talk to someone and was on hold for 5 min. Literally can not reach anyone!!! More

I can’t say enough about Dr. Gothard, he was my doctor some years ago and I lost my job and my insurance and went without for several years, in 2018 I got a job that offered great insurance and the first thing I did was look up Dr. Gothard and made an appointment after 7 years he actually remembered me. I would not see any other doctor, he takes care of a lot so I don’t have to go to different specialist. I highly recommend Sander Gothard and will never see another doctor as long as he is practicing! More

This is a VERY busy office. My Dr is great and I think he wants to spent the necessary time with me that the situation requires. The first two times he seemed ok but rushed. However, the third time was a different scenario. I could really feel the tension that is being put on him through the facility. I only know that because he mentioned it. They have to keep a VERY strict schedule and he was stressing and passing that stress on to me. I’ve seen two Dr’s at this facility now, and cannot say it’s been a consistent experience. I’m being flexible and still deciding if this is my medical home or not. I’d give the facility a 3 and the Dr a 4. More

Very comforting first visit; I told Dr. Lester and her nurse that I was showing symptoms of arthritis. I'm 21, so this was incredibly scary to me, but after a detailed series of questions, she sent me to get tested the same day. Just got the results back and they seem to suggest I really do have an immune disorder, so I can take the next steps to get diagnosed by a rheumatologist. Happy to say I felt heard and taken care of throughout it all! Would recommend Dr. Lester to anyone! More

Village Health Partners even help speed up with check-in with the fancy kiosks ! My family's care is so important and we feel like VIPs! Best of all blood work, mammograms are all in one building! I enjoyed my visit to the doctors' office... who says that? Me that's who... Dr. Lester was efficient, detailed and most of all kind. I feel like a participant in my medical care and not a spectator. Stellar. I can't believe I found Dr. Sandra Caldwell and her office. They have been professional, courteous, knowledgeable and kind. I didn't feel rushed, and Dr. Caldwell listened to all of my concerns and even made sure to send me to another doctor for a concern she has about my health, and turns out, she was right on her concern as my health was in jeopardy and I didn't even know it. Nurse Kelsi called me and answered my questions carefully and kindly, can't thank the team at Texas family medicine enough. I don't really understand where the previous reviewers have been going, because I've been going to VHP for 5 years. I LOVE my doctor: Liane Kibel. Ever since I've been seeing her I've referred 4 other people that say they love her caring and knowledge, how she takes time with the patient and is always quick to respond via the patient portal or by phone personally. The front staff has always been courteous. The medical assistants may not be as friendly as other places, but being in the medical field, I know the amount of work they have. But still haven't encountered one rude person within the staff. One time I had a lapse in my insurance and my bill was way less expensive than I thought it would be. I told my husband maybe we should use cash instead of insurance. I love the place, I will be moving 40 miles away in the fall, but I still plan to continue seeing Dr Kibel. More

We have been going to VHP since about 6 months after it opened. I'm continually impressed with the speed of service and the proactive approach they take to healthcare. An individual with the practice will call to follow up to remind you of annual health checks that you should get scheduled - excellent! I see Dr Albracht and really like him. He's a holistic doctor and will explore your total health before making a diagnosis. Plus he's not quick to prescribe medication to solve everything (which I appreciate). My husband sees Dr Goddard. Goddard is a former runner, so he understands my marathon-running husband's unique health (and heart) requirements. I also spent several months meeting with the in-house dietitian, Melanie Wilder. That was HSA money well spent. She really helped me walk through the psychological aspects of my eating patterns, helping me shed 10 lbs that had stubbornly refused to respond to exercise and (so I thought) dieting. All in all, it's a good practice. They're busier now that everyone's learned how amazing they are, but I'm happy waiting 15 minutes (yep - that's the longest I've ever waited, even as a work in appointment) to see someone. They also are way off my regular route now that I work downtown, but I'll take time off to visit my favorite doctors than even consider finding a new practice. More
